Updated 5/11/2009: Still no new journals, but I haven't forgotten about this one! Been kinda crammed together recently... I now have taken 4 out of 5 GED tests, but for the Math one, my final (and no, I didn't purposely do it that way; that's just how it turned out) I have to wait until at -least- May 28th because it is booked through the rest of the month, but a slot opened on May 28th while I was taking my Writing course. I haven't been able to schedule it yet, though, because I was too late in getting to it, so I have to call up today and check it out.

In other news, TSR once again has not been updated in a week, but this time I simply have not made -any- updates, as opposed to simply not announcing them. I did do it last weekend. This week, I've just had so much going on. Science test was Monday, Writing Friday, and I had Job Orientation for Alpine Valley Music Theatre (yes, I have FINALLY got a job) on Saturday. Plus, of course, church on Sunday, and all the while I've been trying to keep up with personal stuff, such as at -long last- finishing Scepter of Darkness.

Speaking of SoD, I've made lots of progress on the game, though primarily I've been concentrating on features first and foremost. This consists, of course, primarily on scripts. However, I've also been trying to greatly update the database and work a lot of that out. So, its been interesting.

Anyway, at last I finally have -nothing- going on for a while, so in the meantime I'm gonna try and catch up on a lot of stuff I've started but haven't been able to finish. This will include artworks, writings, TSR updates, adding back all my email contacts, etc. Also, of course, be sure to check out what I've updated here thus far. ^^

Clement Avenue School
Details: A site I'm designing for a school in my old neighboorhood (before we moved). I got the main site done as requested, but haven't gotten to work on the finishing touches or the Administration Control Panel. Recently I have now been able to work more on it, though, and am currently in the process of designing the Control Panel's skin layout.

SFBBS Battle System Upgrades
Details: The Shadow Flash Bulletin Boards IPB Battle System has been need of updating for some time. A while back I started upgrades, but I couldn't update the database. Now that I got database access, though, I have begun to make updates somewhat, but things are still a little slow. I got the Battle Card base in order and have made a few cards, plus I have updated the database information for the Battle System. My current project, before I get to the actual stuff on the SFBBS itself, is concentrating on updating the Admin CP first and foremost. Currently I have updated the settings and have updated the database, as well, but I'm still working on testing it and finishing up the rest of the pages.

Complete TSR/SFBBS Merger
Details: Not everything is done in the TSR/SFBBS merger. There's still lots of odds and ends here I haven't been able to get around to yet, and I've been swamped with lots of stuff recently. So yeah, hard to keep up with it all.

One new thing I have gotten here is I've begun to set up a "Keyword" system which will update blocks of text and link to Information Pages that have the keyword marked. Unfortunately, it has been disabled until I can find a way to work it better without slowing down loading times too much.

This section contains information on all the artworks I'm drawing at this time, first with personal stuff, and then Gift Art. I'll probably be drawing a lot more now.


Girly Me
Details: A gender bender; basically its me depicted as a female. Goofy? Maybe, but I like it. Currently the picture is almost completely colored and finished. I just need to finish coloring the pants and shoes.

Daphnes Rohanes Hyrule
Details: I know his name is actually Nohansen, but this how I've said it throughout Zelda: Scepter of Darkness, so its staying as Rohanes. This, of course, is a younger Daphnes portrayed in Scepter of Darkness. It is a reference to Wind Waker, as it seems that Daphnes in Wind Waker is sort of immortal at the time, so that's where it kinda comes in. I've got part of the head sketch done, but not much else. I'm trying to work on it still.

Ultima's Smile
Details: A picture of Ultima I started a while back for a certain secret project, of which I'm likely too late for now, but I'll still try, anyway. I quite like how this is turning out. Its my first true picture of Ultima after getting his design down accurately (thanks to Hannah). Due to the secret project in question, Ultima is given a smile in this one, hence the name. It has now been fully completed and inked, and its scanned, but I still need to digitally ink it.

Relm's Mission
Details: An interesting pose design for Relm. Not truly the same Relm from Zelda: Scepter of Darkness, though... Its a redesigned version base on the Sonic the Hedgehog series! I've drawn Relm in this picture as an Anthro Mink, and I absolutely -love- the design. However, there are still a few things to work out, and the pose is very awkward, so I'm trying to make it fit better. I'll probably draw another Relm the Mink picture to get the design down before finishing this.

Relm the Mink
Details: Mentioned above. Its a Relm picture base on her designed as an Anthro Mink, but in a standing pose, so I can get it down better. My mink design is somewhat based on Silver, and on a true Mink, but otherwise its indistinguishable from typical Sonic characters. Despite being drawn as a Sonic character this time, all other traits of hers are identical to her Zelda version. The only real difference is that her attributes are altered enough to be an anthro, but otherwise, her clothes, hairstyle, weapons, coloring, etc., is just like her Zelda version. The pic is for the most part complete, though I do not yet have her scarf-like tuff of fur around her neck, nor do I have the left hand complete. Otherwise, it is pretty much done. Just need to finish the ink and scan it.

Captain Baask
Details: Captain Baask design from Zelda: Dark Horizons. It is definitely the hardest I have done thus far, because of the armor, but I like how I designed it. The full design is now complete, and its scanned, but I still need to color it.

Saria's Tears
Details: Mostly just a basic pose art of Saria staring into the sky, but I wanted a fancy name for it. This is intended to be based on a picture of Saria after the events of The Demon Within, though she does still have mostly the same outfit. That doesn't mean there aren't any differences, though... Fully sketched, though I haven't inked (nor will I), but I will still scan and color it later on.


Gift for =Phoenix-Angel-Zia11
Details: A semi-request/gift by/for my girlfriend, sweet Hannah. I'm drawing her character Zia, this time fully as an anthro (last time I did a human version of Zia, and that was when I was still practicing more on drawing). The entire picture is now sketched and inked, but I haven't been able to finish cleaning/inking it yet.

Ultima and Zia
Details: Hannah wanted to see a picture of Ultima and Zia together, so I whipped something up, but its only in early stages.


Deathly Cuteness
Details: Not exactly a collab; Hannah drew an adorable chibi Relm picture for me in my sketchbook while she was down over Spring vacation. Since she left it with me, of course, one we got the scanner working here I scanned it and started digitally inking/coloring it. So, she sketched it out, and I'm going to finish it using GIMP. I'll post the original Sketch soon, though.

Drace Catacone
Details: A villainess from an upcoming collab story between myself and my girlfriend, =Phoenix-Angel-Zia11. This picture was drawn as the first sketch of the character in question, and I will be coloring it later on.

Requests are currently CLOSED, and Art Trades are OPEN! Please don't expect things to come quickly, though. I may also start accepting Commissions soon, if people like my art enough, and if I do, I won't drop Trades, but they'll come second to commissions.

Anyway, to make a request, NOTE me (requesting in comments won't help) and give either -very- enhanced details on your request, or send a picture of the character you want me to draw. I would prefer not having to draw characters that look like recolors of canon characters, but I will if you want me to.

For trades, I'll try and follow your request to-the-letter. Of course, that also means I'll ask something of you in return, though I'm sure most artists here know how trades work, so I won't bother going into detail.

1. Trade with ~Nightsky-TH
Details: My first request/trade! Nightsky didn't want to make a request, so she asked for a trade instead. I sent her a description of how I'd like to see a new artwork for my character, Hannah Swift. In return, she asked me to draw a picture of my character, Ultima, sitting in a tree, with her character, Nightsky, sitting up against the tree. I may also right a short story to go along with it, but I'm not sure. I've got a basic sketch up and have started on one of the characters, but I still haven't gotten far. Sorry about the long delay, NightSky.

Legacy of the Lost
Details: Unfortunately, I haven't had a lot of inspiration for this recently. It is about half complete, though. It details Blaze's side of the story post-Sonic '06. Though not fully explained yet, but hinted at, the title could technically be read as Legacy of the Lost Princess, which is a reference to Princess Oltana, whom has been missing the past fifteen years ever since a royal ship was attacked by pirates when out at sea.

Team Chaotix: Last Chance
Details: Yes, this is about half complete. I have a lot of stuff done throughout the story in various chapters, but some scenes haven't been completed. Also, I won't be posting this until I finish The Ill-Forgotten, as in Last Chance I start linking back to Dreams of an Absent Mind and The Ill-Forgotten both.

The Ill-Forgotten
Details: Sequel to Dreams of an Absent Mind. I got the plot outlined and the first couple chapters complete, but I've barely started. I won't post any chapters until I reach at LEAST Chapter 10.

Mind's Ultimatum
Details: Collab project with =Phoenix-Angel-Zia11. We are currently at Chapter 11 of likely around 30 (though I don't know exactly). When Hannah came down a couple weeks ago we were able to get a lot more work done on it.

Embers of Solaris
Details: EoS is a planned project from a while back, intended to be the third part in the Embers of Solaris trilogy (containing both Forgotten Memories and Legend of Flicky), but the idea has been scrapped and EoS is now an entirely new story, though it will follow along part of the same path. It will reference both Legacy of the Lost and a story I haven't even started yet, My Absolution, but I might just scrap the story all-together. Regardless, Embers of Solaris may be referencing those stories, but it is its own entity, and you don't have to read those to get the full picture. The problem, though, is that it explains everything that happens in those stories, as well (as sort of flashbacks) so its spoilers there. Anyway, this story is barely started; within the first five chapters out of I-don't-know how many planned. I recently started Chapter 6, though I'm not very far into it.

My Absolution
Details: May be scrapped. Planned story mentioned above detailing Silver's side of the story post-Sonic '06, essentially the opposite to Legacy of the Lost.

Details: Absolutely 100% COMPLETE!

The Legend of Zelda: The Demon Within
Details: Wait, I've actually started this? Truthfully, yes, I have. Somewhat. I wrote the entire outline for the story, and did some writing, but not a lot. With SoD complete, I'm now very interested in continuing this. Sequel to Scepter of Darkness, second of three. Worked a little more on it.

The Legend of Zelda: Dark Horizons
Details: Sequel to Demon Within, third of three. Dark Horizons revolves around the final battle against Ganondorf, as while Link and Navi were away during Demon Within, Ganondorf was able to take over Hyrule. Involves some questionable references, but I won't spoil anything yet. I haven't started it yet.

Hero of Legend (Working Title)
Details: A planned story that revolves around an ulterior idea. Link always seems to have a male descendant, doesn't he? What if one generation of Link simply did NOT have a male heir, though, but only a female...? Yes, I'm going there. Planned idea, and may contain small references to Dark Horizons, but I doubt I'll wait to complete that before starting this. The title was an on-the-spot thing.

The Legend of Zelda: The Lost Tribe
Details: Idea for a post-TP sort of story involving Link and Ilia going into the depths of the forests and encountering the Kokiri, and ultimately Link learns that he has to find the heirs of the Seven Sages in order to prevent Hyrule from falling into turmoil. Only an idea at the moment.

The Legend of Zelda: Age of Machines (Working Title)
Details: Somewhat based on the rumored "Project Deluge" we heard about a while back. The idea of having no Link isn't that interesting, but I like all the other ideas. This is based on a futuristic, steam-punk type world where evil is long disappeared, until the demons of the past begin to rise up again... and only one hero can save them. Plus his ancestor's immortal girlfriend living in the forest. XD

Not enough projects for its own section, but also doesn't fit anyplace else. This contains a variety of miscellaneous projects, as you can expect by the title.

The Legend of Zelda: Dark Horizons
Details: An RPG based on my story trilogy Zelda: Dark Horizons (consisting of Scepter of Darkness, Demon Within, and Dark Horizons). The game had been started in RPG Maker XP, but it was on a free trial, which has long-since ran out. However, I have the full version now, and have begun to make a few updates, but what I'm concentrating on first is making everything easier to find and organizing most of my item listings, characters, etc.

At the moment I do have most of the database information reorganized. I've left a few slots open so that I have room to work with, and extra weapons/armors I want to add will be placed near the end of the lists. I have not finished organizing the Items, Enemies, and Troops listings in the database yet, and I probably won't for a little while. I also plan on organizing the Switches and Variables so that it fits in better, and I'll be used a -ton- more SelfSwitches to save room on Switches and Variables. Plus, a lot of things I used in Common Events before will now be done in scripts, either my own or pre-made.

Currently my main concentrating is on scripting. I'm going through a ton of scripts I downloaded a while back and adding them into the game, as well as updating them, too, so they fit better and will work together. I'm really liking how its turning out thus far, too. ^^

The sprites I'll be using for the -most- part in the main game will be the Tilesets by Inquisitor. At the moment I am -not- using them, though; I still need to go in and update that a bit before I start. Character sprites will be the RTP or based on the RTP. Essentially, these are the original sprites I posted on dA a while back, though some of them have been updated quite a bit from those originals. Battle Artworks for enemies will be either RTP or hand-drawn, while player characters will -all- be hand-drawn. Faceshots will also be hand-drawn, all done by me.

Update-wise, I've been working a heck of a lot on this recently. Its actually the primary project I've had. I haven't really worked too much on the game progress, but instead I've been concentrating on everything else--graphics, layout, features, etc. I've also been updating just about all the sprites I had started in the past (with help from my girlfriend, Hannah, who showed me some pointers in making better-looking sprites), and they look far better than before. So, yeah, I'm pretty psyched about that.
